We are already making progress!Since our last newsletter we have already made progress. We've raised over $1,000 towards the match and we're thrilled to announce we have hired Noa Kay to lead this campaign. Noa earned masters degrees in Education and Public Health and has over 16 years of experience working as an educator and public policy researcher. Throughout her career, Noa has worked collaboratively with families, stakeholders, partner organizations, and elected officials. Recently, Noa’s commitment to improving both human and environmental health led her to launch a small no-till vegetable farm. Noa can be reached at Noa@carbonwa.org.Thanks to Noa's early efforts along with the work Cat Kelly, Greg Rock and many others, CarbonWA has been reaching out to farms, farmers markets, news organizations, and new partners. We have already been featured in 8 farming newsletters, convened a coalition of farming and environmental groups, and recently earned the endorsement of the endorsement of the Washington State Democrats Environment and Climate Caucus! The momentum is building. Please give today to help us complete the $7,500 matching drive to support this campaign.CarbonWA is HiringCarbonWA is also looking for its next long-term Executive Director. We are looking for a talented and committed leader to move CarbonWA into its next phase of success. If you or someone you know has what it takes, you can learn more and apply on Idealist.
