Giving thanks today and feeling hope for tomorrow.

This was not the 2020 anyone expected.

But it was certainly one that showed us the power of coming together, taking care of each other, and slowing down a bit. As this year officially winds down, we have reasons to be hopeful — and grateful. Not one, but three COVID vaccines are on the way. A peaceful transition of power has begun in Washington, DC after an election cycle that highlighted the climate crisis more than ever before. And there are already promising signals about the role climate policy will play at the federal level.

Here in Washington State, we continue to work tirelessly on a strong recovery that rightfully places equitable climate policy at the center. Climate policy is economic policy, and we are working closely with legislators and decision-makers to advance  Washington STRONG as the clear choice to put Washingtonians back to work quickly and jumpstart local economies, all while meeting our climate goals. Our plan has already been nationally recognized in Bloomberg Green as an innovative model for other states to follow, and by Sightline Institute as a smart path to a clean recovery that doesn't rely on the federal government. After what we've all been through in 2020, that's the type of bold leadership and swift action 2021 will demand. And we're ready.

We can't do this without you.

None of this is possible without you. From our grassroots donors to all of the local advocates who are excited, inspired, and ready to take action to make sure our leaders meet the moment, THANK YOU. With our sincerest gratitude, we send you our wishes for a safe and healthy holiday.
